The big question is why didn’t the libs force Biden to release the Epstein info? Why now? Also, why didn’t the libs focus on deportation and ICE when Obama was President? He deported 3M of them. Why now? I would love to see the Epstein files as well, but do you really think the files themselves were not doctored or corrupted by the Biden DOJ team? Do you really think that the Biden team would not have inserted some extremely negative stuff about Trump and Epstein in the hope that this file would be released by DJ T.

My comment was to explain the law, not whether or not I would believe a speculative narrative as to why the entire file could not be released. This excuse you have come up with for them to give us hasn't even been given.
Again, my simple statement was:
Congress cannot pass a law that allows the release of files that contain material that is illegal to disseminate. They can absolutely redact those currently illegal portions but there is no world where a picture of CP could be made legal to release to the general public unless they amended the criminal statutes related to CP. And it would be suicide for congress to relax any criminal laws on CP regardless of why they are doing it.

There's no excuse. My comment was simply that I would also vote against some addition to a law that vaguely requires the release of Epstein files. They should be specific in what they want released.
