Not much. Uranium is mildly radioactive, but not a disaster. The dangerous stuff is called a "fission product" and is basically waste generated during nuclear reactions. Stuff like Idione-131, Strontium-90, Cesium-137, etc. All of those only appear inside a reactor or in some cases from a nuclear bomb.
A conventional bomb won't cause a nuclear reaction to start. You need neutron bombardment for a chain reaction which a regular bomb won't provide.

Correct. why would you truly trust any competent foreign intelligence agency when they want something from you? A competent agency would be working to and able to manipulate you to take actions in their interest and not necessarily your own...
