AI was my first thought from the close up video but if he got hit there it would definitely be similar. The first video initially looked like chest shoulder but was initially also reported as neck.

After I saw the video I told my wife he was 100% gone and said a prayer for him and his family. I usually do not believe that most events that people consider miracles are actual miracles... That wouldn't be the case here.

There's another video from further away that shows the exact same thing. Maybe 50-60 yards up a hill, looking down on where he is seated.

If that comes to light as AI and knowing it was in circulation minutes after the incident we will no longer be able to trust anything we see online.

It is crazy. I figured dead in two minutes. I do remember seeing a video of a hockey goalie who took a skate to the jugular and the team doctor recognized it very quickly and ran out there, reached in his neck and pinched off the blood flow. Hopefully someone with that expertise did the same here. Unfortunately, i am very skeptical of him being stable. Hopefuly he is. This was sick.

he may never be the same again if he survives this. that neck shot looked brutal. like, he may be paralyzed from the neck down after this. i hope that's not the case.

Yeah, the coach/equipment manager was a former medic in vietnam.
Saved that players life.
Held that vein until the medics showed up.
