That's the totality of the socialist mindset: they're so hellbent on believing their romanticized version of reality will come from their efforts that a mandatory part of their stance has to be the dismissal or outright ignoring of not only the stark sacrifices it would take to get there but their firm (and equally romanticized) belief they would easily weather those sacrifices.

He was a neighbor of my BIL, and they have been to each other's homes and they belonged to the same social circles in Park City, UT but he got pissed and sold his place and left Utah when they passed a law against the use of the LGBTQ flag over any public buildings. Pussy.
