It's a misleading statistic because in the vast majority of residences with "indoor plumbing" the water can't be used for anything but flushing the toilet and washing clothes.

They can't wash their hands, drink the water, use the water for cooking or washing dishes or even bathing in it.

And in many of the multi-residential buildings the bathroom is communal, as in, go down the hall to use the toilet.

So just saying there is indoor plumbing isn't really saying it's like what we have in our homes.

this...spent 6 weeks in Equatorial Guinea and lived in the man camp on the plant grounds...its the same there...

One of the locals who worked in-house at the plant told us he had to move because the people in his neighborhood learned he had a job so they would break into his house constantly...

Once he moved to a different neighborhood he told no one of his job and when he left the house to go to work or to go out on a date he would where old worn out clothing and then change clothes when he got far enough away from where he was living to protect himself and his home...

Going to and from the airport to the plant you see what true poverty is...
