Ossoff over 50% in DeKalb's Silver Lake. This precinct went 45.47 Trump to 45.38 Clinton !

Trump won Ga, but Cobb county and some surrounding areas turned blue. This is a transition area of ga.

I wont be shocked if the Democrat wins

If by some chance democrats win this special election, this should end the practice of appointing house representatives to cabinet posts and jobs in the administration.

Why leave house spots up to chance?

In 90% of House seats, there is no "chance." I may be slightly overstating it.

Cobb county did not turn blue. Gwinnett did however.

If Ossoff pulls this off everyone will know that it will be a direct result of Trump being toxic politically and other republicans will start distancing from him immediately to keep their jobs.

Or a young, attractive guy running on a moderate platform in a moderate district in a crowded jungle primary and being the only standout.

Meh, the past is past. You need to be worrying about the midterms.

You do understand that these two statements are contradictory - right?

Prognostications either way this far out seem a bit pre-mature.

Though I will point out that the spin you are likely to hear if Ossoff wins this outright tonight(besides an early AM tweet of fraud or some other nonsense from Trump), is that the district only went to Trump by 1 point in November so this means nothing.

I don't think I agree with that, but it should, if nothing else, indicate that this is a district that is not exactly a Trump stalwart to begin with and if Trump struggles to match his November favorability here by next year, Ossoff would likely have a decent change of staying put.

Your excitement is contagious but misplaced. This dude is going to a primary and going to get waxed. You're getting worked up over early voting results. Not much same day stuff reported yet.

Let me guess Dem spin - Ossoff wins: 'Massive upset! Trump is toxic!'

Ossoff loses: That a Georgia election was ever in doubt (even if it's not close) is a sure sign of Trump's toxicity.

Intellectually dishonest bastards. Keep going with your moral victories.

Credit democrats for whittling their field down to Osoff and shame on the GOP for not whittling the field down to at least 2 candidates.

That kind of strategy shite show like that is how JBE won in Louisiana.
