Weichert reported a source/contact, who worked within the MIC says the US has around 72 hours of munitions at the current rate of depletion. Weichert said if US military operations drag on for weeks the only option is to pull munitions and weapon systems from other locations.

Well, which is it? Are we almost out or do we have various stockpiles?

Am I nearly out of milk because my gallon jug is running low? Or are we all good because I have a full, unopened gallon jug behind it in the fridge?

shite, I only have about $50 in my wallet- am I out of money if I can go pull some from an ATM?

It could be true, but I'm not comfortable taking the word of an anonymous source whose solution would be to give them a ton of money to build more.

I've listened to several podcasts over the past few months where other military analysts have voiced their concerns over shrinking munitions and weapon system stockpiles. I used Google AI just to see what it would find and it agreed the stockpile of US munitions and weapons systems are quite thin. The other issue is the time it takes to replace some of the more sophisticated and expensive pieces of hardware, like a Tomahawk cruise missile. It can take several months from start to finish to get the finished product.

From Google AI......,

quote:

US munitions stockpiles are currently considered inadequate for a major, sustained, peer-level conflict, with critical shortages in advanced missiles, air defense interceptors (Patriot, THAAD), and artillery, driven by usage in Ukraine and the Middle East. While the Pentagon is increasing production, current inventory levels would likely be exhausted within weeks of intense combat, taking years to replenish.

And.

I find it unbelievable that we have less munitions after using munition. Who could have predicted that.

I am pretty sure our nukes haven't been depleted.

Patriot, THADD, SM-3, SM-6 and cruise missiles.

This really shouldn’t be discussed regardless of how truthful it is.

I wasn’t a huge fan of this to begin with but publicizing supply chain issues only helps our enemies.

War Room? You mean Bannon?

Yea, i’m not listening to the talking points coming out of Epstein’s best friend.

I primarily listen to War Room for the guests, the guests have some great insight when it comes to geopolitics and capital markets.

You can also bang on Bannon but when he was being mercilessly attacked by Bureaucratic State lawfare, attempting to get Bannon to turn on Trump for the J6 Faux Insurrection, Bannon said F you, kept his yap shut and went to prison as did his close friend Peter Navarro. How many on this forum would have done the same. Never forget, when many abandoned Trump after J6 it was Steve Bannon who told all the weak kneed MAGA types to find their baby makers and stand in the breach.....he never wavered in his support for Trump.

I asked my brother, retired Air Force and at one point, a munitons specialist. He laughed. He said there is a small possability that pre-positioned stock is running low, but we could fight 3 full out wars at the same time for a year+ and stil have plenty of munitions left over.

If they is the case, then the “MIC” is not an industrial complex.

It’s a poorly run joke like the Louisiana DMV

But do you really think an industrial complex that large is that stupid?

I don't know why people are acting like this is is so crazy, the lack of Patriot and THAAD interceptor stockpiles has been widely discussed for years. The monthly productions numbers are abysmal and we're currently using hundreds a day. I doubt the validity of the 72 hour time frame but it's a lot closer to reality than people want to believe.

I do know the Biden Administration took new air defense missile batteries that were slated to be delivered to Taiwan and redirected those systems to Ukraine.

We have ample number of B61 "silver bullets" available that are nearing the end of their shelf life......I am sure they would work.

Against enemies lobbing dozens of missiles a day? No, no we couldn't.

That^^^ settles it, we should be good for a prolonged military engagement if need be.

Well, they can just read the DoD Comptroller report where the US Navy budgeted for 139 SM-6s for 2026. This information isn't hard to find.

The number will always be fuzzy on what is in stock and available, as some stock of any weapon will be undergoing modernization at any given time, etc.
