Since the beginning of all this, Jack Kane has been fully on board with the conflict and has expressed his utmost support for Trump, even after the first 50 times a deal was announced and never came through.

To hear him be this concerned is even more concerning for me.

Sounds like he has a vested interest in this conflict continuing.

You probably talked shite about Keane wanting Trump to keep his foot down on Iran with attacks.

Won't find any of that from me.

I was more of "if you're going to talk big shite, then do big shite"

Trump threatened and pulled back at the last minute. That was my problem.

If the military option is not off of the table, then why worry Iran will not comply with the deal?

And just like that, Keane has been moved to the other side of the ledger.

I'm more interested in what Jim Webb has to say. Aside from a record of killing people in war, he's probably one of the more clear thinkers we've ever had in politics in the last 45 years.

All of the advocates of crushing Iran and doing regime change need to convince the American people that it will be worth the cost.

Trump started in that direction, stopped, correctly read the room and reversed.

Summary of a recent podcast with Webb.

quote:

Foreign policy consultant and Iraq War veteran James R. Webb strongly opposes the U.S. war with Iran, arguing the conflict is a strategic failure that has severely damaged America's global standing and primarily serves Israeli regional interests.

My POV was not to get involved in a religious war in the first place.

Now Iran knows that whenever they need a few 100B, they can start some shite, and everyone will eventually pay them to stop it.

They'll go quiet for a few years, maybe, and once they blow through that, they'll kick some shite back up.

It's a no-win situation, but I do give some props to Obama and Trump for thinking they can "fix" it---

Are you talking about Trump or Keane?

I think the key thing President Trump says is "They can't have a nuclear weapon because if they have one they probably would use it".

If Trump truly believes this why is he making a deal that leaves the Islamic terrorists in charge?

It takes BOTH SIDES to uphold an agreement.

So you were a Trump supporter when the bombing first started?

If Keane is whining, then it was the right thing.
