Sam’s Club still had $3.99 gas, but the line was wrapped around the building. Crazy times. I don’t remember this high since high school back in the George W days.

It was this high the last admin for a bit and historically with added inflation even higher at times. No excuse though as it’s starting to piss people off and I can understand that. The people complaining though are the same people who have to live up to the jones’ and have fancy SUVs and don’t mind paying 100k now days for a vehicle.

Americans don’t live outside their means? Why complain about $4.99 gas then?

Reminds me of the stories grandma used to tell me about rationing during ww2. Stay strong, brother!

I paid $3.48/gallon at Sam’s this morning in a SW suburb of Houston and drove right up to the pump @ 8 AM.

Jesse Kelly is very correct on this one as he talked today. Republicans were voted for in 24 in part to bring prices down, but the opposite is occurring. At least with gas.
R's will get destroyed in November because of extreme apathy/disappointment from the contingent that voted R in 24

Don't care. I think I put 3k miles on our car for all of 2025.

Another great thing about working from home.

When's that? Even Trump's own cabinet says national average will be over $3 a gallon for rest of 2026.

What if it gets to $1/gallon?

But it won't because we're doing a legacy war in Iran because reasons.
