Yeah it's killing my wife and I. We both drive an hour to work. We still like Trump but it's getting harder.
It's crazy that your "like" for a politician can be bought/sold for a thousand or two dollars per year.

Don't be a panican, take one for the team. Your dollars are needed by oil companies and middle eastern Sheikh and will be put to far better use.

Don't be selfish!

Iran has been weeks away from a nuke for decades at this point

Hegseth under oath just said we went to war with them not because they were weeks away, but because they showed "signs" they weren't abandoning their nuclear ambitions.

So with that testimony, what was the "imminent threat"?

It was this high the last admin for a bit and historically with added inflation even higher at times. No excuse though as it’s starting to piss people off and I can understand that. The people complaining though are the same people who have to live up to the jones’ and have fancy SUVs and don’t mind paying 100k now days for a vehicle.

Well, it pisses me off as well. Notice how over the past weekend, when trading is slow or stopped, it didn't change prices even with an assassination attempt. OMG OMG OMG FUD Fear Uncertainty Doubt... nothing.

Monday comes, and 'Strait of Hormuz' is back in the news.

As of early May 2026, Indiana's total gas tax is among the nation's highest at approximately 54.5 cents per gallon (excluding federal tax). The rate includes a 36-cent excise tax and a variable sales tax (around 23.3 cents for May 2026). However, Governor Braun has suspended the 7% sales tax on gas through May 8, 2026, following a 30-day suspension to provide relief.
