Nah, this was a fealty test and it failed. Just like the "crowd size" thing at the beginning of his last term -- repeat my absurd lie so I know you're on my side. This time it was -- approve my absurd nominee so I can be reassured that you guys will do my bidding.
The ploy failed, and it highlights the limits of his power over Congress at this time. Emphasis on "at this time."

I think it's very worth keeping RFK and his followers onside for 2028. Reportedly, he and Trump really did bond in private in the days leading up to the formal endorsement.
I'm a pro-life conservative who leans CN, so I question how long these alliances are going to be useful for us
I understand why RFK is part of it, and on some level I appreciate the fresh perspective he'll bring to the conversation on health in America, but I just think it'll be fleeting no matter what.

Better watch out, that kind of talk could be criminal in this country pretty soon gauging by some recent House bills.

Exactly. I'm sure Trump is taking names and plotting revenge like the tyrant he is.

The movement isn’t about one guy. Let’s get another reformer lined up.

Who would Trump be plotting revenge against and why would he be plotting revenge at all? What has happened to expect revenge for anything?

I voted for Trump and have liked almost all of his cabinet picks. But somebody please explain how/why Gaetz would make a good AG. He has never tried a case, or even really practiced law. He has more baggage than Lovey Howell. It was a flawed pick. If you deny that, you are locked in a MAGA VR simulation.

It was always about balls and dismantling. I don't think you can make a credible argument MG was qualified to lead the DOJ in any other sense.

And y’all sat here for literal days saying he was completely innocent and it was all a smear campaign.
Meanwhile he’s paying young girls $500 for “being my friend” and “being awesome”

Good catch.
I remember how Trump went after his opponents. He turned the DOJ on them. He got the state courts to tie them up on phony charges. He attacked them ftom d Ed very angle. He tried wearing them out, breaking them financially.
This country has never seen anything like it, and I hope we never will again.
Oh you said Trump!!!! Nevermind, I thought you said Joe Biden.!

Not sure trump plays multi dimensional chess but I don’t see the win here anyway. Would rather have gaetz still representing so it’s a net loss for trump.

A logical person who is elected for President would only nominate someone he knew he could get the votes for. But muh 5d chess I guess.
