Your scenario is stupid and you are stupid for posting it?

For those of you saying “the cops will walk!!!”, a hypothetical: what if, when the police arrived on site, Brooks had stripped completely, exited his car, and run across the Wendy’s parking lot at the cops, and was shot after he got within 15 feet (and after having been screamed at to STOP!!!) Remember, he is naked, no weapon, ignoring the call to stop. Your thoughts?
That scenario has kinda already happened. Except the cop was black and the naked dude was white.

A grand jury no-billed the black cop.

No hypothetical needed. Watch the fricking video for what really happened.
I watched the video. I know what happened.
I agree with those saying the officers should be acquitted, if charged, and agree with those saying they should never be charged.
I'm using the hypothetical to show that, just because you want these things is no guarantee that they will be.
If the hypothetical DID happen, what would the outcome have been? I know what it SHOULD have been.

Ex-officer gets 12 years in naked man's fatal shooting
A former Georgia police officer convicted of aggravated assault and other crimes in the fatal shooting of an unarmed, naked man was sentenced Friday to 12 years in prison. Robert "Chip" Olsen was responding to a call of a naked man behaving erratically at an Atlanta-area apartment complex

11 charges filed, including felony murder.
That’s not just throwing the book that’s throwing the whole library.
Several posters quoted the Code or made observations on how the cops could not be legally charged.
I’ve tried to tell you people...we are living in an age right now where laws do not matter and I say that as an attorney. We are living in a time ruled by emotion, frenzy, and irrational thought.

As an attorney and an American, this is fricking terrifying. Laws do not matter right now, and even worse, there are large numbers of people who support what is going on. The democrats have been calling conservatives and Trump fascists for 4 years. What we are seeing right now is what fascism looks like.

The cop is being charged with the burning down of the Wendy’s. His actions caused the arson.

There's no way that's correct.

lol
Correct. I’m not sure what the criminal damage to property charge is about yet.
I don’t think it could be the burning of the Wendy’s...could it? Couldn’t happen...right?

A stray bullet hit another car in the drive-thru is where that charge comes from (seriously)

Damage to property is because he shot 3 times. Two bullets in the perp, third hit a bystander's car. That's the property. 3 ppl in said car, that's the 3 agg assault charges.

Purely political.
Howard has no balls, just like most of the ATL leadership.

If they were doing this right Brooks would be charged with damage to property under transferred intent.
