Graphic bodycam footage shows the moment armed robbery suspect was killed by San Francisco cops in hail of 99 bullets after he shot at them once
How can these people be so delusional?
quote:
- Jesus Delgado Duarte, 19, died after he was hit 25 times by cops on March 6
- He had just shot at cops once from the trunk of his getaway car which was pulled over on Capp Street, San Francisco
- Footage, taken from 12 different officer's cameras, showed the moment officers caught up with Duarte after he allegedly robbed two people at gunpoint
- He was seen lying in the trunk of his getaway car as officers demanded he put his hands up and get out of the car
- One officer fired a non-lethal bean bag at Duarte, who responded by shooting once at the cops
- They opened fire, shooting 99 bullets and hitting the suspect, who died at the scene, 25 times
- The footage sparked fury at a Monday town meeting where locals began chanting 'murderer' in Spanish
quote:
The footage of the incident was released on Monday at the town hall meeting as many questioned the police response.
'He aimed at the f**king floor and they shot 99 bullets at him,' Benjamin Bac Sierra, a City College of San Francisco teacher told the San Francisco Examiner.
'This is a f**king circus, to be honest with you.'
How can these people be so delusional?

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Sounds like these residents want to employ the obama administration's rules of engagement policy.
It's downright stupid to think police should limit their response to a shot for shot policy.
Someone fires at you once you should empty your clip if that is what is required to be certain they don't get the opportunity to fire again.

Should have been 100 bullets.

I'm just here to tell you.
If you shoot at me and you remain in my range, I can't tell you how many times I'll shoot at you because that depends on my weapon.
But, the answer is probably going to be easy to ascertain by checking my magazine capacity.

Who in their right mind would be a cop in SF?

Where'd the other 74 bullets go? That's a lot of strays...

I thought the same. That's a lot of liability flying around.

Would have been epic to troll the meeting and stand up and express outrage at the SF cops 25% accuracy.
Totally change the narrative: "well yeah they had to fire 100 shots because apparently they couldn't hit the MF'er with he first 75!!!"

This really makes a great case for "high capacity magazines".
They say that cops are the only ones truly qualified to use firearms, but they can only hit 25%.

Sounds like SFPD needs to be practicing some gun control on the damn range...

Maybe they should first question why he robbed 2 people at gunpoint.

I went to a range with a cop friend one time. After he told me what their scores had to be to qualify, I was convinced that I could pass blindfolded. I also have zero confidence in the police’s ability to handle a shootout. This story furthers my opinion that the storm troopers from Star Wars comical lack of accuracy really adds realism to the films.
