My eyes!

If a ladybug and bowling ball mated.

Or a black planet.

I didn’t expect them to get her for the tweets. But that fake phone number? Highly unethical, borderline criminal.

Forgot about that

No. The hotline stunt is about as close to yelling fire in a theatre as I can imagine.

Plus, firing a professor for being a complete embarrassment and detriment to the institution doesn't necessarily invoke free-speech concerns (it could, but not necessarily) much less the First Amendment.

One doesn't just piss off jabba the hutt by firing him. One waits until a Jedi comes by and distracts him, first.

I would love to sit in her class and heckle her.

I like this decision, my only problem is that this sort of behavior only seems to be allowed from the left.

She's a government employee. While the "private citizen comments" argument has merits, if this was a private sector business she is likely out the door within a day. Probably even sooner once you include the phone number ordeal.

I don't agree with her comments but that has nothing to do with my opinion that she should be fired. Her comments and actions are a black eye on a publicly-funded institution. Donors have also threatened to cut donations. My whole problem with the deal is that it demonstrates just how shitty government institutions are.

She’s so fat...

...after sex, she smokes a turkey.

...she was born on the 4th, 5th, and 6th of June.

...when she was little her mother used to dress her alike.

...if you get on an elevator with her, you better be going down.

Repugnant.

They could kill someone in the middle of the avenue and no one would blink.

None of them will admit it, but every progressive on this board knows exactly what would happen to a conservative professor who said something controversial about Michelle Obama or advocated for acts of terrorism against minorities. The double standard is frightening.

Well that's outrageous. If this is the way things are handled at Fresno State then this professor absolutely should have been fired.

The university president was afraid of a lawsuit. Period.
It won’t surprise me, however, if FSU ultimately loses more money from bailing donors and plummeting enrollment than it would’ve paid out in any potential damages.

I predict two things: (1) This decision will end up being very destructive for Fresno State University, a la Mizzou; and (2) this isn’t the last we’ll hear from Professor Jarrar.
