Free Speech is a right. How come we do not register our speech, thought, or writings?

They want us to register our guns but no other right is registered. Why are guns infringed when it specifically says "shall not be infringed".
Why is the right to protect and feed your family and self treated differently?
People need to wake the F#(K up!!

Register is just another term for control in this case. That can be said they already are trying to control all of our actions and speech as well.

Because you’re dealing with Americans in name only, not real Americans.

Several politicians, both Rs and Ds, have suggested forcing their critics to register with the government or have their 1A rights taken away altogether.

Driving a car is a right. How come we don't have to use blinkers when we exercise free speech?

Most notably Chicken Curry Clinton (Haley)

For the same reason that every right listed in the First Amendment is limited by Congress despite "Congress shall make no law."
That phrase is no less textually restrictive than "shall not be infringed."

You have a right to vote. You have to register to vote. Are they infringing your right by requiring you to register to vote?

Arguably also a privilege.

No, they are insuring the person voting is who they say they are.
No need to do that with guns. But that is what they want- to keep tabs on all gun owners

It isn't. It's considered a "privilege" according to many.

Now do requiring IDs

Its a privilege. The state grants you the ability to drive a car upon completion of certain requirements.

The first thing you’re taught in driver’s ed is that driving is a privilege, not a right.

Patience, when the Zero Trust program and digital ID are rolled out, your online speech will be registered for all practical purposes.
