So you post something in support of the full prosecution of fraud, including daycare fraud. You also posted the need to improve access to childcare with tax credits or subsidies. And this gets 227 downvotes and 3 upvotes? Meanwhile, the multimillionaires and billionaires continue to reap the benefits of tax credits.

Then, a post about spending tax dollars on mental institutions and insane asylums where the government can lock people up for as long as they want gets upvoted into oblivion.

This place is bonkers

Woman participation in the workplace exploded in the 50s and 60s, long before childcare was subsidized

WTF do you mean “access to childcare” ?

Find a fricking daycare. Pay for it yourself.

Stop being a fricking leech.

Why do you think a day care that is closed 80% of the working day is legitimate? Proper day cares are open very early.

After school daycare, they do it at the boys and girls clubs here.

Yep.

Women were able to enter the workforce for much of the early 20th century without subsidized daycare.

OP doesn’t explain how that was possible

So day care for a few hours a day? Sounds ripe for fraud.

Are those clubs getting millions in tax payer money?

He also brags about how his wife is a rich doctor who thinks men are women.

Its the messenger not so much the statement.

Just another entitled ball of greed.

Or at least wait til kindergarten. After school care/babysitting is so much less expensive.

I have seen rhetoric condemning childcare as if that’s the problem (opposed to criminals who abuse the system).

The problem is - there is good evidence this spigot of government (meaning taxpayer) money is not and has never been under good quality oversight.

Therefore, it is equivalent to a fraud pipeline. There is an entire subculture of folks getting paid to watch their own disabled relatives (while being disabled themselves, at least benefit wise) or getting paid to watch their own children that literally no one wanted to talk about until 5 seconds ago.

But these prosecutions are not "sexy" and not going to lead to either an appointment as a U.S. Attorney or a transition to "Big Law", so it goes unlooked at, untouched and as wide open as the border under Biden.

"Childcare" (meaning you take your children to a for profit institution that agrees to watch your children for your own money) is not a problem. What is being called "childcare" (a trillion dollar taxpayer-funded boondoggle) IS the problem.

Why would you think a right-leaning message board would upvote taxpayers paying for your childcare?

Because everyone knows about 80% of the patients assigned to these insane asylums are increasingly violent Leftists/liberal whackjobs.

Who isn't for this?

Crazy people need to be institutionalized, but liberals like you want these threats to the public on the streets. Sick minds.
