I truly respect and support Trump, but not on this issue. frick em. Chalk it up to a loss and walk away. Let Europe take care of thier own backyard. Pull all of our troops out and withdraw from NATO. Concentrate on our hemisphere.

We wanted them to take a more active role in the defense of Ukraine when they were crying that we needed to spend our wealth for Ukraine. We told them to put their money where their mouth is and they didn't.

So we are moving to end the war. Of course, they now have to try to gum up the peace talks to continue the war for their globalist overlords. They did very little to help Ukraine, so they should not be involved in the peace talks.

Instead of both sides agreeing on the terms of one pact, each side will demand their agreement be signed. This will lead to prolonging the war which is the whole purpose of the Euro cucks at this point.

If you can't see that, then you haven't been paying attention. Every move the Euro trash has made has been to keep the war machine churning out corpses.

As I said in another thread,, this would be ridiculously dumb, Stupider than Jimmy Carter giving up the Panama Canal. We would lose power, respect, some of the fear that we command. I don't want America to be looked at as akin to Sweden just with fat people and rap music.

This is exactly what our enemies want. A weakening of American force and resolve. This would not be good and would cost us down the line.

No.

We want them to take responsibility for the war in full meaning funding it, supplying troops and fighting it without our help or to accept the terms on which we are able to negotiate a peace deal.

Every single time Trump has negotiated a settlement these clowns come in with empty promises for money and material to get Zelensky to turn down the deal so the war goes on and they provide a fraction of what they're supposed to while drawing us closer and closer to an open war with Russia itself.

Either have the means to do it yourself or get the hell out of the way so we can make peace.

Trump has an easy counter that literally trumps (eh...eh...) anything they come up with. It's called, "Okay I'm out, Vlad take the entire country."

But that’s not acceptable to Trump, so it isn’t credible.

I am unaware of any such previously negotiated Trump settlements. The only thing I recall is some sort of promise that America would be a big help if only Ukraine signed away its minerals.

Like this..

And I dont think the US is keeping its bargain frankly with this proposed deal.

You should run for president! Lol
Again, I dont give two fricks what Europe or Russia thinks about us. We take control of our hemisphere and let Europe take care of their hemisphere.
The only thing Russia needs to know about us is that we have over 5,000 nuclear weapons based on land, ships, and submarines. frick Europe. Continuing welfare to Europe is down right stupid.

Taking care of our hemisphere is an isolationist policy that is of no use in this day and age when missles can fly from one part of the world to another in minutes and a hacking operation in North Korea or Russia or China can cause American planes to fly into one another by playing games with our air traffic control system. It's not the Monroe doctrine era anymore and has not been basically since missles were made, let alone computers 30 years ago. And with AI coming down the pike, LOL. The dumbest thing we can do now is turn our backs and turtle.

Fortunately/unfortunately for Trump he can't really do anything about it lol. We're fortunate that the Europeans are so stupid and ideologically hellbent on demonizing Russia that they afford us influence that we don't actually have.

Our strategic interests extend well outside of our hemisphere. We should charge Europe for policing their hemisphere, but we must do it.

The “it” he was going to do is leave Europe to deal with the Ukraine war. Trump certainly could do it. My point is that he won’t because that is unacceptable to him.

I had no idea you were so uninformed on the topic, let me bring you up to speed!

March 18, 2025 - Agreement with Putin for an immediate ceasefire on energy infrastructure.
AP - Trump/Putin Ceasefire Framework

May 19, 2025 - Announcement of immediate ceasefire negotiations after calls with both leaders.
AP - Trump Peace Deal to Trigger Cease Fire

August 15, 2025 - In-person summit with Putin in Anchorage, Alaska.
CNN - Trump / Russia Summit for Peace

August 18, 2025 - White House meeting with Zelenskyy and European leaders to arrange trilateral summit.
Guardian - Trump hosts EU/Ukraine Summit for Peace

October 17, 2025 - Heated White House meeting with Zelenskyy amid plans for Putin summit.
WaPo - Trump Russia - Ukraine Summit

Each of those meetings (documented here by MSM sources to avoid confusion on your part) represented specific and actionable peace plans agreed to by Trump and Russia, each of which were later killed by Zelensky after meeting with various EU stakeholders.

Hundreds of thousands have died as a result of the failure to consumate a deal with the terms becoming less favorable as Russia continued to take more ground and Ukraine runs lower and lower on men and war materials.

Or...
They sat on their hands for years, and now that Trump has done something, they start picking it apart?
