It is important. The Federal asset pretending to not be a Federal asset isn’t going to get deposed by Tucker’s lawyer.
He might be a federal asset or again he might not be. However, to make an allegation without evidence that he is in fact a federal asset is legally problematic.

Chris Cuomo is on News Nation now. He interviewed Bill O'Reilly about Tuck's departure. Bill brought up a couple things I hadn't thought about:
1) Bill claims that this Grossberg woman secretly taped Tucker and his crew saying controversial stuff. She went to a lawyer and had the lawyer try to make Fox pay up. Fox refused, so she went ahead and filed suit. The suit is now public and Grossberg has tapes that could be released, so this might have played into them firing him now. (Grossberg herself was fired, but I am not sure if it was directly because of her blackmail attempt or not).
2) Ray Epps gave his interview on 60 Minutes and directly accused Tucker of "ruining his life." Bill believes CBS was setting this up for Epps to file a lawsuit against Fox. Fox wants to avoid this.
3) Tucks' ratings are huge, but his revenue isn't because no one will advertise during his time slot.

Yep, I noted that even before O'Reilly went on Cuomo's show (I watched it as well) and Bill still has lots of connections over there.
I watched Megyn Kelly's show and she had some views that this was an attempt to appease and maybe preempt some of these other lawsuits potentially coming down the pipe that O'Reilly mentioned
In summary, this was in the end a $$$$$$ decision. Megyn Kelly thinks this will hurt them but she thinks Fox has always been able to keep things rolling when Host leaves, like Bill and then her, they moved new hosts into slots and still did well. Lowery thinks they will work around it because he still says they are the best at producing TV Nightly news shows.
I think Tucker will do what Megyn Kelly did, Joe Rogan, Jason Whitlock, and create his own show where he does not have Management and sponsors over looking his show.
He will do fine.

The Republican party has never embraced mainstream political thought and action, whether we're talking immigration reform, police reform, preservation of reproductive rights, carbon emissions control, strengthening America's alliances with NATO partners or in the UN, green energy development, and so
The RNC says nice things, but their inaction speaks much louder. Whenever they actually have an opportunity to push a conservative platform, they fold.

How do you know he doesn't have evidence?

Didn’t see this coming.
Shareholders demanding a culture change at Fox News?
Don Lemon? He was let go at CNN.

Is it really “defamatory” to falsely claim one is a “federal asset” versus being a rabid MAGA Trump supporter?
What’s that say, if so?

This is unreal. There’s a globalist agenda going on amongst the rich people.
Tucker has never done anything wrong but was fired for corporate and political reasons.
frick Fox News.

No, the funny thing is that recognizing Tucker's lies somehow does not compel me to accept the lies of the Left. In fact, it's not required for anyone to think "Everyone on my side is honest and everyone on the other side is a liar."
But, in any case, it certainly does not seem that Tucker was fired for his lying. The reports indicate that Fox fired him for texts that trashed other Fox employees and management, texts that came up in the Dominion case.
These were redacted for the public but Fox management had the full version. So, we don't know exactly what he said that got him fired, but it might come out if the Smartmatic case goes to trial and Tucker has to testify.

You keep repeating this over and over but won’t put forth any evidence. All the while you spread tabloid gossip about why you think Carlson was fired.

He’s still mad tucker pointed out Ukrainians were getting their arse kicked 7-1. GOP tiger can’t have his entertainment war stopped.

You still actually believe that? That's so sad that you really want to believe that lie so much that you convinced yourself of it.
If Tucker told you that the moon was made of green cheese, you'd believe it.

January 4, 2021:
Another Tucker text:
quote:
“We are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights.”
“I truly can't wait. I hate him passionately.”
Another Tucker text:
quote:
“That’s the last four years. We’re all pretending we’ve got a lot to show for it, because admitting what a disaster it’s been is too tough to digest. But come on. There isn’t really an upside to Trump.”

I think you would be hard pressed to find Tucker making a direct claim that Epps was a federal asset. What’s more, you won’t spend any time trying to find a quote where he does say that.

Idiotic. A corporation does not fire it's biggest attraction over texts. This is bigger than that, for sure. You certainly don't do it in the way this was done. No, they wanted him off their air and they wanted him off their air NOW. That's one of two things, or both. They didn't like what he was saying. They feared what he was saying. And it was worth a good chunk of change for them to make it stop.

All you do is lie and post fake UK intel reports about Ukraine kicking arse

Where are the clips of Tucker praising trump on his show?

The lawsuits are how the Uniparty cancels someone at Tucker’s level.
They can’t just fire him. They have to discredit him. Enter “he’s a bigot” or whatever the frick the Murdoch / Ryan dream team is trying to dream up about a devoted family man of 4.
Paul Ryan did this. And he did so to have his milquetoast message be the message Fox sent. The dude is sofaking delusional he thinks he’s some kind of kingmaker, even tho he ran for VP and lost his home state.
It’s irrelevant who wins 2024, we just can’t be questioning the MIC or the FBI, or “good” Republicans, much less have Fox giving oxygen to “crazy” republicans. And we ESPECIALLY can’t have him shaming Noem, Hutchinson, Abbot or that senator from Indiana whose name escapes me when they go all Uniparty bullshite talking points.
Tucker has the platform right now to get actual powerful ppl on his show, and to actually ask them tough questions for which their newspeak word salad is not adequate to address. He literally speaks truth to power and even the powerful on what FOX thinks is their side.
Tucker was fired bc the Paul Ryans of the world wanted to kill the messenger, the undefended lawsuits are designed to defame him.
Tucker will no doubt be fine. If he makes a podcast I’ll listen or watch or whatever, but his firing is a real blow to people who share Tucker’s policies. I just don’t think he’ll have the stroke to book guests like Noem, etc and ask them actual challenging questions.
Telling the truth is officially a revolutionary act.

I've probably texted similar stuff to my friends and still think trump was the best president of my lifetime.
