Fox had to dump him because he thinks, correctly, that Trump was a disaster?

lol no

I agree with you No. It is coming down to $$$$$. The Abby Grossberg lawsuit since Fox did not settle is likely going to produce tapes that will not make Tucker look good. According to Bill O'Reilly, who still has ties to many Fox employees, another lawsuit by Ray Epps, who was interviewed on CBS 60 minutes may be targeting Tucker as well.

Bill O'Reilly stated that every current Fox employee will have to take a pay cut due to the Dominion settlement and there is likely to b over the next 6 months a 30% reduction in employees.

So as I noted above in a post, well before I saw O'Reilly talk about the Tucker issue with Chris Cuomo at Newsnation on Youtube, he clearly says this was Top Management and Shareholders looking at this from the $$$$ and what could be more $$$$ hits coming.

Ray Epps isn’t suing Tucker as an individual. He might sue Fox so they can show their belly again.

And Tucker's anti-vax lies killed thousands of people. His election lies helped tear the fabric of our nation apart. And, yes, just this past week, he told the insane lie that Ukraine was losing men at a 7:1 ratio ... and so many of y'all lapped it up, because some of you hate America so much that you'd rather join in dictator worship than believe the truth.

So today, I rejoice that Truth won a round

"anti-vax lies".

Ok, I misspoke a bit, they will likely sue Fox news and use Tuckers accusations against Mr. Epps to show defamation and that it was allowed by Fox Top Mgt.

So thanks for the editorial suggestion. Precision in these types of situations is important.

It is important. The Federal asset pretending to not be a Federal asset isn’t going to get deposed by Tucker’s lawyer.

full-fledged uniparty establishment

What is this "uniparty"? The Republican party has never embraced mainstream political thought and action, whether we're talking immigration reform, police reform, preservation of reproductive rights, carbon emissions control, strengthening America's alliances with NATO partners or in the UN, green energy development, and so, so many more avenues leading to modernization. There remain two political parties: one moving forward, and the other longing for an idealized past which never existed. There is no "uniparty" and it really irks me to see that in print.

What "truth"? That Fox News is a failed entity and just chose to eliminate its biggest draw?

Susan Scott has completely screwed the company up by blurring the lines between news and opinion. She should have been fired.

I have some REALLY bad news for you: you're not listening to Jesus, you're taking talking points from the other guy.

I pray you reevaluate your beliefs.

Again, why do you think that Fox News exists? Because I promise you that Rupert Murdoch isn't a big fan of losing money.

Why does any cable news exist? It is mostly unwatchable, and it isn't conducive to independence of thought. Tucker was one of the few interesting people on cable news.

Tucker will be fine, though. Glenn Beck has a bigger audience -and makes more money- than when he was on Fox.

And note too that the boycott tactics won't stop with someone like Tucker. They will come for you, too. Maybe being willing to bend the knee isn't a such a big deal? Just bow and worship me and all this will be yours...

Chris Cuomo is on News Nation now. He interviewed Bill O'Reilly about Tuck's departure. Bill brought up a couple things I hadn't thought about:

1) Bill claims that this Grossberg woman secretly taped Tucker and his crew saying controversial stuff. She went to a lawyer and had the lawyer try to make Fox pay up. Fox refused, so she went ahead and filed suit. The suit is now public and Grossberg has tapes that could be released, so this might have played into them firing him now. (Grossberg herself was fired, but I am not sure if it was directly because of her blackmail attempt or not).

2) Ray Epps gave his interview on 60 Minutes and directly accused Tucker of "ruining his life." Bill believes CBS was setting this up for Epps to file a lawsuit against Fox. Fox wants to avoid this.

3) Tucks' ratings are huge, but his revenue isn't because no one will advertise during his time slot.
