Surely the Chinese aren't so stupid to listen to her. They know Trump will be in office beyond 2020. Who knows.

Lock her arse up.

not a fricking option. They have an overbalance of pain and must give or counter...

You will receive no sensible responses ... only emotional outbursts.

Where is she negotiating on behalf of the US? Granted we aren’t provided with everything, but what is given to us merely looks like advice/opinion.

She is going the Kerry route

I will guess these are Chinese government reps and she is undermining American interest abroad.

I don’t doubt this is China’s plan. I think they are gonna try to outlast us through the election and hope they can get Biden in there who won’t do a thing to them.

We need to enforce the Logan Act or find another way to stop this kind of thing. It's getting ridiculous.

I doubt the papered over Chinese economy will last until 2020 without collapse. And the way Trump "shocked the world" in 2016, it's not a gamble they can bet on, that he won't win 2020 and they'd be absolutely fricked.

Their time to deal is now.

Doesn't a violation of this require direct communication to a government official?

To me, it seems she was speaking to a US-China thinktank about her opinion. Now granted that China's government structure doesn't allow for groups to exist outside the communist party.

This, plus she was giving advice -- not negotiating. She's a deep state neophyte but she didn't violate the Logan Act.
