What the frick is the UAW demanding? I did hear them mention they want a shorter work week and a 38% wage increase.

And ? Would that matter? They are paid better than any other non professional job and better than most all self employed or small business owners. They make about 100 per hour now

Well, if any of the plants are in MI, that’s going to be hard to do, since MI is no longer a right to work state.
Guess they’ll just have to ship those jobs south.

The UAW almost destroyed the Big 3 with crazy health and retirement plans which they want back.
But Ford has swallowed the Woke bug full. These idiots had started bragging that they will eliminate 40% of the UAW jobs because electric vehicles use less parts and are easier to assemble.
The Michigan workers hate electric vehicles because they know they are POS. I think they are throwing out impossible demands in order to kill the EVs.
