Nor do the workers have the interests of the company in mind. This isn't new.

That's different, it's why unions abhor profit sharing.

The Michigan workers hate electric vehicles because they know they are POS. I think they are throwing out impossible demands in order to kill the EVs.

That isn’t their job nor responsibility. They have no influence over the business strategy of the OEM.

I didn't say it was their responsibility. It is their belief, rightly or wrongly. But they do reflect the feelings of the majority of US car buyers.

The state of Michigan is in the bottom ten of states buying EVs. They build this crap. They know it won;t work and they are trying to protect their jobs.

The average UAW worker makes $28 per hour = $58,240 a year. A 40% increase would take them to $39.20 per hour = $81,536. The work requirement is a HS diploma.

The union takes 1.15% for representation or $669.76 a year and 40% would increase their fee to $937.66 a year. The union is also asking 40% increase in their dues.

None of that factors the Healthcare or Retirement benefits.

Unions are a scam.

why is it that the so called party of the working man always sides with the MAN? if they voted republican you would support these union workers but they don't and it always boils down with that for this board and so many other conservative voters.

Because their demands are unrealistic. Unions once upon a time used to serve a good purpose. Now not so much.

Those union workers are about to find out why their liberal establishment leaders have been inviting in millions of illegals. You thought you had the leverage? lol
