I don’t support him because he’s too dang old to be running anything, let alone a country. We have to get these geriatrics out of leadership.

He said he would drain the swamp and he did not do it.

His hires sucked. Wray, Milley, etc. etc.

Covid was a disaster when he turned it over to that runt.

Short answer: I fear and don’t trust him because of his toxic, Narcissistic Personality Disorder (DSM-5 301.81).

And for those who say a diagnosis can’t be made without a face to face interview I say this. Virtually every diagnosis ever made was determined by much less exposure than any diagnostician has had with Trump. He is a model case of NPD that will be studied throughout history.

The real answer is more detailed. That answer addresses the damage that those with a toxic Narcissistic Personality Disorder do to others, much less a person given more power than anyone in the world.

Deficit went up
Couldn’t hire trustworthy advisors
Constant leaks to the press
Picked fights (which I understand the Cult45 crowd loves) with every person who disagreed with him.
Seem to enjoy throwing folks like generals under the bus
Has no ability at all to compromise

He took office with the most political Capitol I can ever remember a Republican President having and absolutely squandered it on total BS fighting with others. It started with the wall that he told us Mexico would pay for and ended with him throwing a damned temper tantrum over losing the election.

I’m just not prepared for another 4 year shite show with no thought for reigning in the deficit.

Covid response. The more we have learned the more I understand just how badly he handled things and abused my trust in him. I don't hate Trump and will vote for him if he is the nominee but I will never get over him handing the country over to Fauci to be a tyrant who did so much damage to my family, my livelihood, and my country.

I thought you were asking about Trump, not DeSantis.

He aced foreign policy, but that was about it. Spending, F. Covid, C. Appointments , D minus. EOs were good but those don’t last, legislation lasts and he couldn’t work with anybody. And now he’ll be 8 years older than last time.

Dude, you do realize there was this thing called a Pandemic and no other POTUS would have refused to listen to the medical idiots like Fauci. I mean hindsight is 20/20 but even DeSantis shut down Florida at times.

COVID. Praising of Fauci during COVID. Massive spending in response to COVID.

They beat Trump with COVID and he fell for it. Without COVID, Trump is still president.

My biggest overarching complaint is that Trump is hastening the decline of the country from the right. He absolutely scores individual wins (even if often flawed/unfinished/abandoned), but he's dishonest, fake, narcissistic, vain and a great representative of our general societal decay. At core, he's an empty shell. We need less of that. We do not need to crown someone like that as a demigod of the conservative movement.

I'll admit when Trump is being persecuted and when he's right and when he wins. But I won't die on the Trump hill and others shouldn't either. He's not worth it. Unfortunately plenty of people are finding out that battling for Trump earns you the unjustified spite and persecution of his enemies and that he and his supporters won't be there when that happens.

I can deal with the phoniness and the pettiness. I cant deal with the populist politics and his propensity to spend taxpayer money.

His shitty hires don't bother me that much, it just highlights his inability to get people to work with him.

1. Extreme narcissist, megalomaniac

2. Constantly bragging about how rich he is without specifying that he is a trust fund baby and his father secured a number of loans to keep his failing businesses afloat when Trump was first starting out.

3. I don’t trust that he is who he says he is or that he even knows who he is politically. He was a democrat until 1987 and again from 2001-2009. He has been a Republican only to run for office.

4. During Vietnam he received four student deferments and one final medical deferment in order to avoid the draft and service in Vietnam.

5. He is immature and too often goes for personal attacks rather than offer a counter point on policy. Does not conduct himself as a professional executive and instead appeals to the least common denominator of voter, usually on the extreme right, by appealing to their contempt.

6. Negotiated the surrender to the Taliban

7. Failed to fix healthcare and in fact did nothing about fixing the exchanges once he signed his executive order. Obamacare is Alice and well through the silver plans which are still government subsidized.

8a. Bungled COVID. He shut down the economy and let the scientists have too much control over economic policy.

8b. Because of Trumps tariff policy and effort to fight trade deficits, the COVID response exacerbated the consumer pricing which has lead to massive increases in consumer products. Biden really messed up by not offering solutions, but the problem of increase pricing and inflation began with Trump.

8c. The trade war caused a strain on US Agriculture. The USDA responded with billions in farm subsidies to help with those pressures. Guess why so many rural farmers support Trump? They want their subsidies. Big government is still big government.

9. Allowed the massive spread of legalized marijuana in the United States without any federal guidance or restrictions on potency or delivery methods. Half the nation is getting high right now and half of them will have serious mental health incidents when they decide to stop using.

10. Section 401 of the 2018 Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer protection Act. The relaxing of regulation in small and mid sized banks was a major mistake.

We don’t hire a president to be for and against things. We hire a president to fix the shite Dems have fricked up and are fricking up. And in that view, Trump got little done beyond appointing decent justices to the supreme court.

he can’t do much of anything without help in congress, and he blew any chance of getting help in 2022.

Anything Trump gets done, can be undone in te first week of 2028.
