Too many ghetto lawyers doing halfhearted incompetent work. Too many DAs and law enforcement lying or covering up facts to win a case. If justice could be applied fairly to ensure no one innocent was ever convicted I would be all for it. If you have ironclad, indisputable proof, I would be all for it. But, unlike anything else, once you make this error, there is no possibility of ever undoing it.

Just like death penalty for murder, the evidence has to be undeniable. Ie...like the figs in ATL where there's plenty of undeniable proof.
One thing about having the possibility of the death penalty is that it can be used to get them to plead to avoid it. This can be a plus, but a negative if they plead out down way to low. I think they need to add a castration clause plus heavy jail time as the only plead out option.

When a child is molested their soul is killed. I know I, unfortunately, have been there and know first hand what it does to you. Over 45 years later and the damage is still with me. I have absolutely no problem with the death penalty for pedophiles.
