This post right here is exactly why the Republicans should push this through. With secure elections some would be shocked at how the percentages would shift.

You think they really don't know? One should be asking why, despite knowing this, they act as they do?

You clean up the urban centers and the rest fixes itself.
Yep. Local first is the way. But it takes actual leadership, not bogey man speeches.

I think he'd make a rather fine president as well. He seems to have a strong grasp on running the executive branch to great effect.

He’d be a heck of a Chief of Staff, but he does not have the charisma for the presidency.

We only became very red the last few years. Desantis took over a purple state and transformed it to one of the most red.
Competently governing will do that.

I give DeSantis credit, but its also a lot easier when the state is very red and majority of local legislators are republican.

He didn’t inherit a red state. Florida was a purple state that went for Obama twice.

Agreed Bass. Its like my anecdote in NYC. I dont think they would go red, but they certainly would not be as deep blue as people think.

What percentage of the NYC vote would have been for Trump in 2024, do you think, assuming the voting were completely legitimate?

Florida's election stupidity has been a non issue since 2004. Every close election there is an issue with 1-2 states.

Florida should consider amending their constitution to keep him another term. He's that good.

Ha. You like many others just want to be entertained.

He’s the governor of the 3rd largest state in the country.
