Well, I'm hesitant myself re: the filibuster. Pandora's box.

Id be happy with just a speaking filibuster.

Make them talk. There are rules for how long and how many times a Senator can speak in debating legislation.

Media could not but help themselves in having to cover it.

The America People would be able to witness first hand their obstruction.

This is all that needs to be done, Senate Republicans just refuse to do it. I’m with those who think nuking it could be dangerous for the future.

That's reasonable.

It's also why they are going to beat our arse once they get power again and completely nuke it and make us regret it.

We need to beat them to that punch because they're going to throw it. Guaranteed.

Bingo. Fleming getting weak knees suddenly.

Vote for a Trump puppet to save America.

That's where I am now. Just gonna trust Trump and swallow the vomit. Dude isn't wrong often. And I have despised Fleming for a long time and voted for him anyway because the alternative was worse. Well, this time I'm breaking the pattern. Yesterday I was gonna do it again but now I'm about to walk out the door to vote Letlow.

Good move, and a stupid comment from Fleming given the LA electorate bias towards MAGA in a primary. He’ll likely get in the runoff but would be wise to parrot anything Trump wants from now on.

In the very least, have a vote to either nuke it or make it illegal to do so and find out how many democrats are willing to support nuking it.

No he just said the person saying he said that was a liar. He says we should attempt all other avenues before doing it but when it’s the only option and it’s what your constituents want then that’s what he’ll do. If you’ve heard him actually speak about it you’d know this instead of listening to that retard who’s a Letlow mouthpiece

You aren’t in the “we” crowd.

Our govt was purposely set up to move slow.
Nuking the filibuster will dismantle that cornerstone, and you will not like the results.

EXACTLY!! Allowing them to filibuster without having to talk or be there is bullshite and Fleming has come out against that. Which Thune and co refuse to get rid of because they don’t want to work or help their constituents.

Most of trumps endorsements have stabbed him and us in the back. He gets his endorsement advice from rinos that’s why he supports a bunch of shite candidates.
Fleming was blocked from speaking to Trump by wiles and co just like others. Otherwise Trump would’ve endorsed him.
Hell Charlie Kirk was for Fleming and now he’s gone so TPA has endorsed Letlow because they’re quickly turning into rinos.

You will regret Letlow

Don’t be. Pack the court, DC statehood, Puerto Rico statehood, confiscation of guns etc.

Beat them so they want to secede then negotiate the divorce is only way to avoid another civil war. We’re up against evil.

Do you honestly think Letlow will nuke the filibuster? I don’t think there is a woman in the senate that will.

I believe Fleming will at least honestly consider it.

They don't want to be the first to do it, because the talking point is then "The Rs used the Filibuster first", even if it is just a talking filibuster.

I have also consumed this kool aid.

So long as they have to disclose their opposition and why, I’m 100% ok with its existence.

The rule as is, I believe is unconstitutional bc it requires a higher margin to pass legislation than a majority- which is the constitutional standard.

Please tell us what article in the constitution mandates that as a "standard" for all situations.. Thanks.

I remember when the filibuster was all that stood between dems and their radical policies.
