figures you would come to the defense of this weak piece of shite

There is NOTHING legitimate for him to change his mind about.

Don’t need his vote. 50/50 is a confirmation because the VP will vote yes to break the tie.

You do realize he was basically saying I'd do the wrong thing to cover my butt... right?

eta: Correction, that is exactly what he was saying.

Being bullied in changing your mind by a facist operative is the very definition of a coward.

Make no mistake, what happened was no accident when he was cornered by the Soros-bot

He has plenty to lose.

Mitch will make sure K Street is closed to him and if he is counting on the Dems, he needs to remember how they turned on McCain as soon as he ceased being useful.

When the investigation fails to shed any new light on the allegations, he better sure as hell vote yes.

Isn't this about an investigation? I sat and watched 10 members of the judiciary tell me this was about an investigation. I expect all of them to vote "yes" too when the investigation fails to reach any conclusions.

Sounds like Coons should be a yes if FBI can’t find anything. I mean that’s why he told Flake to agree to a one week investigation. Coons is about doing the right thing so America isn’t divided right?

something rational with facts? sometimes (But in a scenario like that i can't remember any, at least within the past 5-10 years)

a clear thinker analyzes the actual situation and makes up his/her mind. emotional ploys that are not related should have no merit

only liars or weak thinkers learned anything to change their minds on Thursday. it was a dog and pony show with no new evidence

He’s not doing what he thinks is right. He’s doing this out of a since of vanity and desire to be looked well upon by his elitist liberal friends. Whom, as a matter of fact, also don’t think what he’s doing is right but don’t care because it’s a bubble of people trying to impress each other with how much they can dislike Trump. And make no mistake, this is about Trump picking a Justice and nothing else. Everyone, and I mean every single person with a functioning brain, knows that Kavanaugh is not and has never been a rapist and is completely fit to serve on the Supreme Court.

And he’ll be confirmed by the way. And Trump will still get another pick. And the court will be majority conservative for a generation and it will be beautiful.

He was elected by his constituents. I wonder if he’ll poll them and see what they want? Or, will he “vote HIS conscious”?

Those activists in the elevator told him not to listen to his very own constituents but to listen to them (activists) instead.

He’s one of those bush era conservatives who long for media acceptance. He doesn’t know or care that the only way they will accept him is when he carries out their bidding - and even then, it’s temporary.

I wish each and every one of those in Congress would vote their conscience and not just toe the party line. America would be better off if they did.
