I'll bet he phrased it differently.

But if Flake was a 100% "no", he would not have voted the recommendation out of committee.

You are correct.

That’s why they must hold the vote no matter what so the red state democrats can be forced to vote no before midterms.

That would make sense, but Flake loves attention and this buys him a week of being the BMOC.

Can’t decide if he’s being blackmailed or bribed. Guess the two aren’t mutually exclusive, maybe it’s both

You do realize that in Fords (not Dr Ford) polygraph, she was only asked 2 yes or no questions and they weren’t even about the event. They were about that childish looking letter she wrote.

This has confused me also.

BUT - was she monitored for the 'long interview' that preceded these two question for signs of mental struggle?

Also - Did the edits come immediately before the 2 questions, or was she allowed to edit the note after struggling on the 2 questions and got 'do-overs' ????

He has more to gain by voting "no." This is what really bothers me.

Going against your constituents in hopes of being a talking head on CNN or at least getting praise from the MSM and taking lobbying bucks isn’t honorable.

He should have had the sense to never put a weakling like him on a committee that is filled with partisan leftist loons. Flake doesn't have the spine or the intellect required to fill that seat.

You can't blame him. There aren't eleven Republican Senators in Congress with spines to begin with. It doesn't matter who you put on their committees the numbers demand that you have to put some spineless Republicans on them.

This is exactly what Flake is doing. He's selling out his constituents for 30 pieces of silver; Judas hanged himself.
