No he freaking said he wanted the FBI investigation. If he already had his mind made up, like all the other Dem Senators already do without waiting for the evidence, then he should have kept his damned mouth shut and voted. Instead he called for something he had no intention of abiding by the findings of, apparently, from jump street so that in no way goes to your assertion of acting upon his conscience.

So you've never changed your mind when you heard something that made you reconsider?

something rational with facts? sometimes (But in a scenario like that i can't remember any, at least within the past 5-10 years)

a clear thinker analyzes the actual situation and makes up his/her mind. emotional ploys that are not related should have no merit

only liars or weak thinkers learned anything to change their minds on Thursday. it was a dog and pony show with no new evidence

The fact that Dr. Ford took a polygraph and passed made me want to listen to her. I believe that something happened because they haven't. If it's a job requirement for the FBI, CIA, NSA, etc then I believe that it has substance.

So he is going to side with his buddy Coons...When has Coons ever voted for a significant Republican measure. I will answer that for you. Never, he votes like all democrats “en bloc”.

When does his term expire? I hope the citizens of Arizona recall him. He's a disgrace.

January.

He didn’t run for re-election because the people of Arizona had enough of his shite.

This is a parting shot by him on the way out the door.

You Trump supporters are gonna be wishing you had Jeff Flake in the Senate come January 3. Senator Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) will vote for many less conservative positions than Flake did.

Dude sat through the testimony of Ford and Kavanaugh, released a formal statement that he was a yes, then got hemmed up by Democrats and folded. Political theatre at its finest

He's not going to vote no. He already voted yes. He's not going to change it.

McConnell should then strip him of any of his choice committee assignments and sent him to the broom closet for the remainder of his term.

would not have did this if he was running for re-election.

would not have done.

The feudal senate can grant or withhold positions of power and make your bills die in committee.
Life on your own is worth little in the party system.

They call one of the party leadership positions The Whip.

He should have had the sense to never put a weakling like him on a committee that is filled with partisan leftist loons. Flake doesn't have the spine or the intellect required to fill that seat.

Why can't Arizona elect a decent senator?

Not if he is in on the Dims attempt to delay and run out the clock so a Trump nominee does not get through before the next Senate is sworn in -- sometime around January 3.

THE FIRST THING the Democrats wanted to do from the very beginning was to DELAY, DELAY, DELAY. Anyone who watched the original hearings realizes this.

So, if Fluckhead is really with the Democrats, he will look first to delay so that Trump cannot nominate another replacement in time.

Could have all been part of the scam.

If the FBI turns up nothing, and Fluckhead votes NO anyway, we'll know that he has been working with the Dims all along to DELAY, DELAY, and DELAY to run out the clock on any Trump appointment.

Think about it -- if he had come out and said he was a "NO," the Republicans wouldn't have given a royal f*ck about his wanting the FBI to investigate and McConnell would have just called for a Senate vote.

BUT, just getting Kavanaugh a NO vote wasn't the first objective of the Dims. Rather it was to DELAY, DELAY, DELAY to run out the clock.

If you doubt this just go back and watch the original hearings - before anyone had heard of Blowsey Ford. I would love to know the number of times they asked for a delay or asked that the hearings be suspended.

You do realize that in Fords (not Dr Ford) polygraph, she was only asked 2 yes or no questions and they weren’t even about the event. They were about that childish looking letter she wrote.
