That will be a great way to recruit companies to Florida - come here and you can pay 21% of your profits in taxes to US and 40% to Florida!
Those big bad corporations need to pay their fair share!!

C'mon Golfer, you're better than this

(reading-it's good for you)
I typed Medicare instead of Medicaid. Forgive me.
The point still stands, the Governor has the ability to expand either program.
And I'm almost positive "Medicare for All" is designed to be a state-run, single payer system...regardless of age.

You’re right. He wants to raise corporate taxes on Florida businesses and not use it to increase access to healthcare. He wants to use that on education.

It wasn't you who made the ridiculous statement. It was the website linked in the original article. It said Medicare for all. You aren't the originator of the ridiculous statement.
And no, governors cannot change or expand Medicare.
So don't worry about it. I'm not picking on you personally, at least not too much.

Governors can lobby to expand healthcare in their state. See Massachusetts. Hawaii. Kentucky. And basically American history.

Andrew Gillum plans to raise Corprate taxes to 7.5% from the current 5.5%.....
The states with 0% pays gross receipts taxes in lieu of Corporate taxes
To the people who don't read, using 40% sounds much more worse

When is 40% not 40%, idiot?

And yet everyone who has ever looked at a P&L for longer than 5 minutes understood exactly what it meant.

Right. But how much percent increase is going from 0% to 1%? eh?

DFW doesn't need any more limousine liberals moving in with their fortune 500's.

AL, GA, and SC are begging for this guy to win.

It’s the same amount as increasing your economic understanding by 1%. Same numbers, too.

CNN good enough for you?

As expected, Gillum is championing Sanders single-payer, "Medicaid for All" plan...
quote:
Andrew believes that healthcare should be a fundamental right, not a privilege. Instead, extreme politicians refuse to acknowledge that Floridians struggle every day to keep themselves and their families from going bankrupt due to the lack or cost of healthcare. Andrew believes that Senator Sanders’ Medicare for All plan will help lower costs and expand coverage to more Floridians.
Are you claiming that states don't have the ability to expand healthcare?

DeSantis should go on vacation to Siberia and return the day of the election. Wins in a landslide

I love how the left is running on abolishing our immigration law enforcement and raising taxes.
Posted on 9/4/18 at 12:01 pm to TBoy
What does that have to do with Florida? I know what you are doing. Suck three more dicks and stick to the alt leftist, Gillum discussion.

Tboy is a dishonest hack. And he’s not good at it.
