That would be a surprising comment from any European political figure.

Europeans still think like they're pre-ww2 Europe but really they been has been since WW2 ended and been living on borrowed time.

You do realize that Ukraine means a lot to the EU, right?

Like before Russia installed a puppet in 2010, Ukraine was on the path to joining the EU as a full member.

This invasion is close to an invasion of an EU country. Europe cares a great deal about this, possibly more than the US.

That was likely a rhetorical question, but for the Libs/Progs here I’ll point out that the Eastern European countries know what it’s like to live under communism.
