I’m a tail end boomer and watching the older hippie lib boomers who are tyrants go down will be glorious. Get after it Gen X. And nothing short of exposing all of congress financial crimes and throwing them in jail is acceptable

I don’t know where you are spiritually, but I’d say a prayer for peace and forgiveness in America and in the hearts of all Americans in Jesus name. Ask God to forgive us all for allowing political divisions to divide us all for the political aspirations of others. Thank Him for His grace and mercy, while we were trying to invent new ways to hate one another, He brought us through such a contentious election cycle, the likes of which we have never seen before, and brought an end to our own self destruction.

You may get some blow back later as everyone marinates in what was prayed for, or even who you prayed to, but one thing is for sure, it will have one of two outcomes. First you might introduce a spirit of real peace and forgiveness, or if nothing else, you will get people to chew on those words along with the meal they consume in the process.

My family is mostly conservative but my brother’s wife’s family has some libtards.

They always fricking bring up politics. I can honestly say that my conservative extended family rarely talks about politics at Thanksgiving. It’s more about, how’s your job, how’s the family, how’s life, hunting, who’s LSU gonna get at QB next year…etc.

And everyone is happy.
