President Trump dispatched 140 helicopters, 28 ships, 6 Army field hospitals, 3 Navy Seabee Battalions, 5 US Army Combat Engineer Battalions, 3 Civil Affairs battalions, 2 Nuclear Submarines capable of generating 2.8 Gigawatts of Power, release 300,000 tons of food, medical supplies, and water from Military stocks to Puerto Rico...

Please stop touting the party line of bashing our President when his actions have been excellent for the island.

Decatur will be here shortly telling us the federal government is waiting on Trump sending a formal aid request to congress before it delivers any aid to PR.

Some bitch I'm friends with on FB has already started posting shite saying we should be ashamed by how little help we've given and Trump is to blame, etc. What kind of person thinks they have the right to criticize those who are helping for not helping enough when said person's only contributions are meaningless "thoughts and prayers" posts on social media?

I'm embarrassed by the amount of people blaming the Jones Act.

100% of the people blaming the JA have NO CLUE what it is.

So they're going to use the nuclear subs as power plants? If so, that's fricking awesome.

Why isn't this getting to the people who need it? It's absolutely PATHETIC that doctors are having to go on tv begging for medicine to help.

They were told on their liberal sites that the Jones Act was a problem for recovery

That was literally the first time they'd ever heard of it

Can you copy and paste this to The President then? Maybe he can fact check it to make sure you’re numbers are accurate and retweet that. Instead of the nonsense he had tweeted.

Will Trump pay back his $33 million dollar bondto PR he reneged on?

I mean if you are going to mention debt in a tweet about recovery.

But so far I haven't seen a fleet of utility trucks driving down there to restore power. For political reasons Trump had them stop in Florida.

I don't know...maybe because the island has been devastated by a major fricking hurricane??????

Seriously people have unrealistic expectations. And political hacks and the media use that gap between expectations and reality to hype up stories.

Nothing pisses me off more.
