You ain't seen nothing yet. Wait until the full effect of the African Swine Fever wipes out 1/2 of Asia's hogs.

I've had experience with farm bill. One thing I took away is that they can be as bad as crawfish farmers. They want a bigger hand out so they can get a new f250 every year.
Guys who work 80 hour weeks all year long are getting a “hand out”

The farm bill has a lot rolled up in it. It's meat and potatoes is paying farmers not to produce to much as to raise the supply and drop the price. They want that check to be as big as possible.

Farmers make more when the government bails them out anyway

Farmers are part of America’s Strategic Defense Initiative so if you don’t like America’s farming heroes on the front lines keeping us fed you should just move to communist china

However, my stomach tells me not to complain about farmers, cattlemen, and others that grow and maintain the stuff that I rely upon to survive. Sometimes they may need a hand to get back up when nature and other uncontrollable factors knocks them down. If I don't help them back on their feet, I won't have a leg to stand on!

We need less soy in our diets anyway.

Good. They deserve it. They are the one that out this idiot in office, they should suffer the consequences of that action.

This. Cracks me up how so many farmers have gotten used to the ease of growing corn and beans they refuse to go back to rice or cotton because “that’s too much work.” So instead they grow beans at a loss and bitch to the Govt to save them. Useless fat lazy fricks

And most of that money will go to big farmers who need it the least
