It's funny, Republicans feel the exact same way about liberals...

I try to use basic common sense...I can understand the emotional reasoning on the issues but when it comes to running the country, you can't really allow emotions to rule the way we should go... Democrats in my view have a hard time doing this when you debate them.
Take the border issue as a great example...
Liberals argue, "no human is illegal, what's the harm, let them in, give them clothing, housing, food and HC treatment, that who we are"
I say ok, we have a 4 bedroom house, wife and 2 kids, I do have one bedroom available, working hard to take care of their needs, that's my job, right...but there is a long line of people who have been wanting that extra bedroom...As the father, the husband, I am not going to let a foreigner just barge in and take the bedroom, and another and another come along and suddenly I don't even feel welcome, appreciated, or in control as owner of my own home.
so when foreigners come on their terms, I think a wall makes a ton of sense. That doesn't mean I don't have compassion for people, it just means I value my wife and kids over people I don't know...
