Possibly. But my understanding of operations like that is you want as few people knowing about them as possible. The left leaks like a sieve.

Well then let them spend their investors money on alternative energy sources like good Woke Climate Change lunatics. Then we can watch Exxon-Mobil die a slow Woke death.
Let's stop playing games here. This has nothing to do with Exxon-Mobil being pissed off they got screwed by Hugo Rafael Chávez but everything to do with the anti-trump "Woke Radicals" who have infiltrated the Exxon-Mobil Oil Board of Directors.
President Trump was more than willing to help Exxon-Mobil recover their losess but the Woke Mobil Board of Directors is more interested in playing the "anti-Trumpster" card.
I hope their wind turbines freeze during icy weather and their solar panels get blow away during a Category 5 hurricane.
Far be it for me to defend Exxon, as they're a major PIA to try to do business with. But...it might be good for you to get your news from places other than Alex Jones, CatTurd and Bookface memes with misspelled words.
Of all the large oil & gas E&Ps, Exxon and Chevron have been the most unapologetic about being American oil companies first and foremost. Exxon has been suing the activist "green" investors that have tried to disrupt their board and their fossil fuel operations. I wish more American oil companies would follow the lead of Exxon and Chevron in that regard.

yes you do, you just don't know it.
Imagine thinking you're boycotting Exxon just because you don't buy gasoline from a station that has its logo in the parking lot.

Which is why I'm damn glad The Administration didn't inform the Congressional Armed Services Committee ahead of time like some of the winers wanted. They'd have run straight to the media.

The only thing surprising is that anyone is surprised.
The Venezuela oil situation is nightmare fuel, price of oil does not warrant investment, much less the risk of future government issues.

If Venezuela had the largest tourism industry in the world he would have a hotel there.
Wrong...its to dangerous and fiscally irresponsible.
ExxonMobil is one of the largest companies on earth. The CEO gave you and Trump an IN PERSON explanation of why they feel its not an investment worth making, under current conditions. They last billions in seized assets, 2 seperate times.
And you think hotels or infrastructure investments are a good idea?
LOL

I follow issues, and I pay attention when these Climate change - Global warming "Woke Lunatics" make moves. I vividly remember reading a report that some of these "Woke" Pro Climate change - Global Warming radicalist had managed to get appointed on the Exxon-Mobil Board of Directors. I recall thinking - the first ones to feel the negative effects of their policies will be the Exxon-Mobil Retirees.
The present Exxon-Mobil Board of Directors is NOT a friend of the American consumer, and they're not a friend of the people that helped build Exxon-Mobil into the company that it is today.
I know I watched them screw their own former workers.
We know what's going on here. The Exxon-Mobil Board of Directors has gone Woke D.E.I.

exxon / mobile is not well liked at their newest large petrochemical plant site in Corpus Christi. They waste 20 % of the area fresh water supply with evaporative coolers instead of no waste fin fans. The fresh water supply lakes for the city will drop to less than 10 percent within a week and there are hurricanes in sight to retire lake levels

I am now retired from Exxon and every single thing they put on the intranet was all woke crap. Their hiring practices also sucked and that made work harder for the none dei hires and promotions were biased as hell.

Looks like someone is a little woke and tied up in their wind farms and solar boondoggle.

Basing foreign policy on the opinions of CEOs seems like a bad idea. As a conservative, I'd prefer if corporations stayed out of foreign policy. That's how you end up with the MIC.

We're still waiting on the President to fulfill his commitment to take over the Gaza Strip. Does the President consult with anyone before he makes these pronouncements?
How many terms will it take for people to understand Trump's negotiation style?

I certainly wouldn't claim to be a master negotiation. Trump is.
What do you think Trump misrepresenting about what we would do in Gaza gained?

This is payback for Rex Tillerson being an incompetent, backstabbing Secretary of State.

Yes…the mere pennies Exxon has invested in wind or solar compared to the tens of billions they spend annually on oil & gas operations is what’s keeping them “too tied up” to invest in Venezuela.
Some of you have to be bots. No way yall can be this ignorant, especially when one can look up budget estimates on the web these days.

If part of your foreign policy includes their companies playing a major role in restarting oil production, then you better know they are willing to do it...unless you plan on nationalizing their companies and forcing them to do it.
I don't think you've thought this through.
