With AfD as MAGA, the Greens as AOC/Bernie, and Left Party as the worst of the Progressives.

It means Germany is still fricked. Their version of RINOs are coming to power. Bunch of Mitt Romney, Bill Cassidy, and Lindsey Graham types.

AfD is going to do well and be left out the government, and the echo chamber will have to be educated on Parliamentary governments like usual

Well that’s about the opposite of what is happening. I’m guessing that you still consider Kamala as a viable candidate too ?

CDU is essentially our establishment R’s, ie likely to give Ukraine new weapons unlike AfD which is essentially MAGA.

This. The Christian Democrats are the equivalent of the establishment RINOs.

To your point, many politicians in CDU will refuse to work with AfD

I guess the Christian Democrat Party is a compromise between the AfD and SPD, right?

The CDU as said are rino types. They’ll pay lip service to curbing migration, but many are really for it. The AFD are the Trump like party. Large chance the CDU could try and shut out the AFD and form an alliance with one of the more left leaning parties.

I’d say it’s more like our rinos. So just SPD in a disguise.

German exit polls suggest that right-wing parties have been won a majority of the German people, with AFD in 2nd place.

Sounds good right? Wrong.

All major parties conspired block AFD.
That means they cannot join a coalition.

Germany just voted for change….
Instead, they will get more of the same.

The silly echo chamber talking points pop up EVERY time a Parliamentary system has an election and the darling party gets left out of the government.

AfD far right. Okay. What does that mean? Do you know? Or are you just parroting biased media?

MAGA must be far right. Right?

For the short term because the parts of the CDU that don’t like the far left stuff will eventually get pissed and move right.

I think we are probably close say 20-50 years off from real violence breaking out in what we once considered civilized countries.

The ball will swing further and further back each time. The case in Germany will be the ball will just keep being lifted further left before the right gets control at some point.

This could speed up though as more and more immigrants commit crimes that only the left find acceptable.

I think the real solution is smaller counties: East Germany and west Germany, perhaps eventually a split US.

I always hear “far right” but never know what that means. Usually it’s anyone who loves the country they live in.
