I am a Nurse..I have never, ever seen any bodies stacked like firewood or bricks or tile or anything else.....except during Katrina when they were stacked like firewood at Baptist in the Chapel because the morgue ran out of room and it was too flooded to take them elsewhere.

Whenever I see someone take a selfie like this, I think of the effort it takes to actually do that. You have to put the phone at an angle, on the desk, and set the timer, then put your hands on your face, look distressed, and post it on the world to see.

It’s like these people get into medicine and then are surprised when they’re asked to deal with situations related to......medicine.

This is a year long pandemic. You got into your job. Whatever it is and all it entails. You deal with its bullshite. Now double the stress and bullshite. If all is true in the video she’s an ICU nurse. I get she’s exhausted. I am exhausted too. I work ER and it is constant stress which has been amplified. For a year. Years into my career and I know my job cold. But this year is all stress and bullshite and masks and sweating in PPE. For a year.
And no break. Freezes places on PTO at times. Also bonuses given for not calling in. Lol. We are showing up sick to work. For money.
The bonus is appreciated but is still exhausting.
That said, I’d not post a video. I just bitch here when I disagree with a particular nurse bashing statement.

I’m prior military. I don’t have a lot of sympathy for someone that is paid well in a profession of their choosing because they feel stressed over PPE and a little sweating. For a whole year.
You go home every night. Eat and drink what you want.

Our hospital has 4 patients getting Remdesivir right now. 3 months ago we were doing 30-35 a day
