Actually there was music back in the 7th century. Music goes way back in the OT even before Moses. Musical instruments are mentioned in the Psalms, related to private enjoyment and national festivals. Perhaps Mohammad did not like music.

If I remember right the Prophet Muhammad was betrothed to a 6 year old and later married the child at age 9. Does she think kiddie diddlers should be allowed to run the streets today because Muhammad did it centuries ago?
