Trump voters will 100% NOT stay home and allow Biden to get reelected.

We had a thread polling the board yesterday. Your premises is false.

Majority of Trump voters are DeSantis voters
Majority of DeSantis voters are Trump voters

There are batshit crazy outliers on either side. The neverTrumpers and the OnlyTrumpers are one in the same. THey are not representative of most people's sentiment.

Multiple posters have already claimed they will in this thread. Many others on this board are using "the reality of the situation" as the reason why DeSantis can't win.

If you're suggesting that's mostly bluster, I think you could be right. But how can you know?

I'll vote for whichever gets the nomination.

Either one will always be the better option than ANY Groomer

I want to see how it plays out with the GOP swamp, but I will tell you if for some reason a swamp rat is nominated I will sit home.

Because the same republicans who voted for Trump also voted for Mitt and McCain. They will not pout and allow Biden to win again. What scares me about DeSantis absolutists is they are starting to sound like democrats. Some even think Ron will make the dems behave and the drama go away, which is foolish.

We all need to support the nominee even if it’s Nikki fricking Haley. It’s not about the Republican nominee as much as it’s about keeping these particular democrats out.

You're mocking your own guys completely contradicting your position? Listen, if your folks are going to talk a big game and do differently - great - but acting like acknowledging what your own people are saying is stupid is, well, very stupid.

Exhibit "A"

Pretending "DeSantis absolutists" exist is beyond dumb. We don't have hats. We don't have slogans. We don't have big parties or clamor to get DeSantis to sign our arm. We don't change our views to match his. It's just more gaslighting and pretending your top priority is bouncing Biden while concern trolling like this isn't credible.

slow the f down child.

I said I was concerned about Ron absolutists, and even articulated why. I never said they'd stay home if Trump is the nominee.

And dont act like Ron absolutists dont exist 5 minutes after you cite a "few posters" on this board to prove onlyTrumpers exists. Do they exist? Of course. Is it in meaningful numbers? Probably not, but we'll see.

Trump and his absolutists are the ones making this complicated.

There is a small, but vocal group with very rigid standards. If a candidate or political figure doesn’t completely meet those rigid standards then they are not acceptable and are labeled RINOs, cucks, necons, or whatever.

For these people it’s Trump or nobody.

It’s theater, no matter what anyone says. The real prize is to defeat the Marxist Dems.

Ignore the shiny objects & faux drama.

Who? I see this claim over and over and I never see any evidence for it. I live in Florida; I know what the dems and the press think of DeathSantis.
