Some of you don't get it. Trump was a reaction against the REPUBLICAN party, not the democrats. Many Trump voters are still playing the party game, sure, but you're taking a major gamble thinking all or even most are. DeSantis is another run of the mill GOP globalist suit who has never held a job outside of politics. He's backed by Bush, McConnell, Ryan and a host of other GOP names whose politics led to Trump getting elected to begin with. More people can see through him than you think.

I suppose I and others who'll likely vote DeSantis could do the same - we could leverage the country's future to make sure our guy gets the nomination.
We won't, because I don't care about DeSantis the person. Give me any number of people with what he offers and I'll vote for them. Meanwhile, I could give you a carbon copy of Trump in a different package and you'd slam him as a fake, imitator, "tribute band", etc. Why? Because it's about the man for you guys and always has been.

I voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020. I will vote for him in the Primary. However, should he not win the Primary I would vote for Satan himself against a democrat.
