What is amazing to me is the entrenched rivalry between Germany and Russia. So intense that the Germans would rather pay a premium for energy than buying cheaper energy from a closer neighbor. Oh well. Better for us.

Lucky for them, they all live in shoeboxes, so not much to heat

I noticed that, too- and even advice to "downsize" to save on heating. I could not even imagine living like that.

Europe buys about 15 billions dollars of fuels a year from RUssia (I googled 21 billion, but that's google....it's probably really 30bbn).

RUssia gets around fifty million dollars a day to......fight Ukraine.
Europe pays for it.
But they want TRUMP to fight Russia.

Europe are some hardliner, austere economists that don't want to lose.

The woman is the head of Denmark. She and many of them resent the US. I'm guessing they will start to build nuclear plants.

It has more to do with Russian interference with a potential EU partner, and then their unprovoked invasion of that same country 8 years later.

Saw a YT discussion two or three days ago. Germany has great industrial capacity. And Europe has sent many armaments to Ukraine without replacing them. YT talking head said Germany needs to start building and stockpiling armaments and munitions. Said Russia would take notice of that. In a good way.

They'd be almost a decade into that plan if they'd have just fricking listened.

Russia isn't going to attack Germany proper. They would get butt fricked by the US, even if NATO didn't exist.

the English prime minister did nothing to provoke by trying to move nato east

the Ukraine's did nothing to provoke by blocking Russian heritage folks in a building in Odessa and setting fire to it

But Germany deciding to build materials will have an effect on a bellicose Russia. And it could put some people to work.

After the Germans acted like scared little bitches and shut down nuke plants after Fukushima, it was the French that stood tall and kept their nukes running. I think I saw 7 of them between Marseille and Barcelona.

Well, what are they going to "phase in"? Haven't they neutered themselves energy-wise?

Yes. And that's the hilarious part. They'll leave themselves either without an industry or reliant upon moddle-eastern ONG which can be more unstable than dealing with even Russia.

If they'd have listened to Orange years ago, they could've figured something out before being stuck between a rock and a hard place. This situation is further evidence of the self-destructive and masochistic nature of Global TDS in general.
