Have to say I agree with this for the most part. No doubt it is not Pub vs Dim anymore. It is nationalist vs Globalist and has been since Reagen, HW Bush was a globalist big time, he made clinton one with money, I don't think Obama was but he knew he could not fight. Trump has fought them has much as one man can but he is not perfect, he sided with them on Russia in some part.. Did you notice how he worded that? He doesn't imply that DeSantis is in on it with them. Just that they are supporting him out of fear of Trump. Which is likely true. But it could very easily backfire on them if DeSantis is who he appears to be. This is the mistake that got them supporting Trump till he was for real the first time. They think they're Machiavelli when they're actually just Cletus with a mullet and a good checkers game.

What you fail to recognize is DeSantis is currently being purchased. It’s me and a couple of other posters here that have been shining sunlight on this problem that has brought so much consternation to this board with the Trump v. DeSantis threads. By shining sunlight on the situation the goal is to keep Ron MAGA and not allow him to become an establishment puppet.
