Trump funded the lockdowns from start to finish

Not true. Biden signed off on a 1.9tn package.

quote:

He called for reopening late spring,

No. He called for reopening early in April. Late spring is end of May to June.

quote:

but it was too late. He had already shite the bed and the Covid shitshow was off and running.

Again, vague words that is suppose to translate into an argument.

No, Had states reopened, the economy would have been fine. He had no power to force a state to reopen.

So from the point he is saying to reopen, It's now in the hands of the Governors to either do it or not.

quote:

If Trump had not allowed Covid response to become a circus, he could have led the country through the pandemic without giving his opponents the opportunity to frick over the country/his re-election chances. There would have been no general shutdowns if state/local governments had to foot their own bill.

There would have been shut downs because Trump did not shut them down to begin with.

I get that you got a problem with it, but I have no issue with Trump returning tax payers dollars to them.

They paid it in.

quote:

Surely you can see how a lot of people might read that and believe Trump was criticizing Kemp?

Only people with an axe to grind and only reads a small portion of what Trump stated.

Spoken like a true Trump cultist. He will never win another election because the egomaniac won’t support Republicans and is only interested in himself. He just drives the lib trash to the voting booth. Move on from your false prophet

All you loved Ron when he was going after MSM/left/Fauci about Covid or calling them out about their dumbass policies.

All of you cheered him the last 4 years

You loved him bc he’s everything you love about Trump, but more. He can actually articulate his point, doesn’t go down pointless rabbit holes of arguments, knows when to STFU and let MSM/Libs hang themselves.

Yet, when he could be the nominee over Trump…he’s a deep state / swamp plant.

Another person who loved DeSantis…right up until he became an alternative to Trump for the nomination.

Then DeSantis became a RINO shill.

There's an awful lot I like about Ron DeSantis, but when he is backed by Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush, the Lincoln Project, and big-money anti-MAGA donors like Ken Griffin, I see only two possibilities: (1) either they think that Governor DeSantis will eventually play ball with the Über-Globalists or (2)
quote:

they are committed to dividing the MAGA coalition between DeSantis and Trump, conquering MAGA once and for all
, and forcing voters back to the Establishment-approved, corporate Republicanism embraced by the likes of Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, Asa Hutchinson, Larry Hogan, Tim Scott, and Nikki Haley

I really think it's this. I don't see DeSantis as a globalist shill. I do believe he's a "kinder, gentler" MAGA.

Ding!

He’s everything you love about Trump…yet, he doesn’t waste time with rabbit hole arguments, can actually articulate his point/policy. Doesn’t have a problem destroying the MSM/Libs to their face.

But but but, he doesn’t mean tweet at 2am!…he’s deep state.

What? I've literally been team Trump this entire time. The only critical things I've said about Trump are about the most recent Ron digs which Ive admitted weren't a good look. I've said that I like Ron but he's backed by all the people who have needed to be pushed out of the way. Where you coming up with this stuff?

It’s a very good article and it gives me many things to ponder.
Here is my problem. I love what Trump did for America and I think he was taking apart the establishment and global interest, but his pettiness and constant need for self praise is going to cost him support and already has.
Granted, If Trump is the nominee, I’ll certainty vote for him again.

did he denounce the support of the Lincoln Project because anyone who supports them, or accepts an endorsement from them is 1. a total POS and 2. a globalist neocon

That's how the media portrays these people, behind closed doors, they are all "frick'em" types that take all they can while they're there, and when they aren't there, they get a sweet Crystal City gig on the 7th floor.
You believe the show you're shown, and good for you. Once you're inside, and see machinations behind the scene, you have to knowingly turn Cypher to enjoy the taste of steak again.

have long believed that God made it possible for Trump to take office, because he is uniquely suited for the role he has played in taking on the establishment

I fervently believe this too.

One thing I pray for Trump, is that he'll accept the wisdom from GOD to know when to keep his mouth shut. He might know something about Desantis than not everyone else knows yet (maybe his unprovoked "Desanctimonious" comment was a preemptive strike because he knows war is inevitable)... but it was still unnecessary at the time.

We need to all collectively pray for the soul of this nation.
