God given right to burn is not all inclusive in the constitution either, you cannot burn a building down and say it was your constitutionally protected right. Burn a book or flag may be okay as far as rights but there are other issues that come into play such as local burning ordinances during dry conditions, possible threats of public safety if burned in a building.

I don't know what philosophical basis they will have to oppose most leftist action when they get power again. MAGA is on record supporting

-More government intervention in markets
-Literal state-ownership of the means of production
-Erosion of states rights
-Expansion of federal government encroaching on states/localities
-Full, unilateral control of the executive by the President
-Promoting clearly illegal executive action and thwarting enjoining that action while the courts sort it out

And that's just off the top of my head. They've ceded all of these positions.

Does something actually have to happen? Cannot the democrats bark and scream about how they are going to burn ? Please tell us here how the democrats don’t currently loot, burn destroy while protesting their rights to freedom. All this, including forums have peoples hair raising so I’d say the constant flooding the zone strategy is working quite well. Some of the topics, national guard protection in urban areas, deporting criminals, highlighting efforts to stop cartels, tariff negotiations, using his money to ramp up White House conditions, investigations into past corruption, DOGE, his legal winning all have been successful and have democrats bouncing around like a pinball

You just made his point. Dems will be standing on the rooftops begging for American flags to be burned. Its not a good look, and its clearly a trap - but dems will take the bait. They can't help themselves.
