I've seen this kid doing interviews and he's not very bright.
Yea, this never happened.
...but the authorities do need to press charges against him for lying about this. This needs to stop.

It should be considered a Hate Crime if a person provides false information to insinuate it was a hate crime and prosecuted as one. If some of these people were threatened with the possibility of jail time and fines, their stories would be told with some semblance of truth.
