Historically accurate...which is why it has a cyclops

Just wait until they layer on the Homeric Greek. That'll be a winner for sure.

Didn't he buy the twatter for 40+ BILLION at the prompting of a post, not entirely dissimilar from this one?
The left is so lame. they were all like I'm leaving Twitter. he's gonna go bankrupt. he's not going bankrupt? ok let's fire bomb cyber trucks. he's going bankrupt now, right? wait, he's the first trillionaire now? damn. Im glad I never cancelled my Twitter account so I can login and shed some light on all this fascism.

It’s not so trivial that they won’t stop doing it.

With quotes like this you make it real hard for anyone to seek you out for intellectual conversation
Thank you

If you want to obsess over trivial shite like this and pretend it's part of a real culture war then I'm not going to stop you.
Lol now you are pretending it's not happening?

Ned's comment killed me. But honestly, if Elon’s funding it, I expect the Trojan Horse to be a Cybertruck

I want Elon Musk to give Mel Gibson $100 million to film an Odyssey adaptation with painstakingly historically accurate ships, armour, weapons, and casting, with all dialogue taken straight from the original poem and delivered in Homeric Greek.

This guy was pretty hard MAGA, but kind of became disillusioned with the new right when he felt like it turned into an influencer clown show. I agree with you that the culture war fights over everything are tiresome.

I'm really looking forward to the Musk reboot of Logan's Run.

To the author's story, powerman. It's not hard.

If it’s truly trivial, why make a conscious point to change it?

I think they mean fixing dumb dialogue like this

Yes. Odysseus says, “Our age of bronze is collapsing” during a late conversation with Penelope, as part of a longer speech about Troy’s destruction and his guilt over it.
It is dialogue written for Christopher Nolan’s adaptation—not a line from Homer’s Odyssey.
Here is the quote
quote:
Yes, my queen. The breaking of Zeus’s law, spreading like plague. Our age of bronze is collapsing, and maybe he couldn’t bear to see the ruins of what he’d done. Anywhere. Least of all, his home.
