After watching the debate and thinking about it, I tend to agree with Musk's take.
My opinion is that Kamala had the advantage of low expectations. Most people just assumed she'd come off as a cackling hyena. Clearing that hurdle made her seem composed; which is ridiculous, but that's where we are in this country. Someone doing the bare minimum is considered a winner.
Overall, Trump spoke to the concerns of Americans, but he had to defend himself more than Kamala did - which is where the moderators showed their bias. Calling him out on the 9 month abortion thing was clear bias, and factually untrue. (There are several states with no defined term limits.)
I don't think it's so much that Trump won any swing voters; that Kamala didn't lose any. Most people already knew who they were voting for. This debate just made their decisions easier; one way or the other.
