$250k gets the Thrust version with the rear acceleration thruster that makes it go 0-60 < 1 second, it will be a limited release

The software/controls on that car will not permit it to jump.

I would be money the jumping and landing done tonight were pre-programmed and not controlled by people. Did we ever even see a driver in the car?

What is wrong with you? You are clearly not an 1/8th as accomplished as Elon nor have you ever created anything. Until you do, please keep your EDS under control. So he isn’t a leftist socialist twat. He still creates amazing things that no one really does anymore. Stop letting your politics invade your mind so you can try and downplay something really cool and more technologically advanced than anyone is creating right now.

Elon should bring in Beaux Duke to test fly it. Those Duke boys knew how to elevate.

The ability to jump (not fly) wont' be available for street legal models in the US

Alexander Shunnarah and that Louisiana equivalent would love for them to be street legal.

What a frickin' retard.

It was in the air for less than half the time of the wright brothers first flight (12 seconds).

That's a fricking jump.

Thanks. I figured.

They wouldn't even trust their own humans to jump that car and people think normal humans on the road will be able to

So you’re now an expert on flying car tech?

Let’s add that to your list of expertise renaissance man, lol.

The tech and wow factor is a 10, the practicality factor.....not sure.

I guess in certain traffic conditions the ability to jump over a few vehicles could come in handy.

Yeah I imagine there will be a small assortment for controlled environments.

Movies, commercials, demonstrations, etc.

Supposed to be for grip on the road by using extra downforce to increase traction

The thrusters push down, not up.

Wrong.

Also, skateboards don't use thrusters to generate lift like a rocket. Terrible analogy and wrong again.

It's pretty staggering how dishonest this guy is.

I'm commenting on the Roadster, not "flying car tech"

I'm also commenting on legal viability, which I do know a lot about

It doesn't take an expert to understand flight.

The car was in the air for less than 6 seconds. That's a jump.

It even...jumped over some stuff.

Evil Knievel was flying motorcycles all the time I guess.
