Ok. Manipulate the forces of gravity.
It did not manipulate the forces of gravity either
Are people really this scientifically illiterate?
Overcoming the forces of gravity would apply. He didn't alter gravitational fields with a sports car.

manipulate
/m?'nipy??lat/
To manipulate means to control, handle, or influence something
How is flying not manipulation of gravity?

How is flying not manipulation of gravity?
Because gravity is a constant force.
We do not have any technology that can do this. Airplanes are not doing it either. A rocket is not doing it, a spaceship orbiting the earth is not doing it.
You are breaking its boundaries. You are not manipulating it, you are overcoming it. You have not controlled it, handled, or had any influence on the force of gravity.
Would you claim you are manipulating gravity by picking up a pen?
You're talking about anti-gravity machines. Which would be cool as hell, but they are thus far sci-fi and this certainly isn't it.

You absolutely are. Remember when like 10 minutes ago you claimed that all rockets leave Earth's atmosphere?

If it broke the boundary with gravity it would float you retard.
The word you are searching for is resist.

You need 1lb of thrust for every 1lb of weight to float.
Resisting is just you standing on the ground. You aren't overcoming it, but you are functioning in it.

Some of you guys would have that weirdo’s kids if you could.

No. I merely used the rockets that leave the atmosphere as a basis for absurd comparison.
No rational person thinks this is a flying car. It's just another retard thread that you're so good at starting.

You are the retard who can't even pass middle school physics.
As for the helicopter, it's called auto-rotation and it's a technique helicopter pilots are trained on to make emergency landings.
It's a controlled fall. Not a glide. Don't be stupid. We just saw video of this happening when a helicopter lost power immediately after taking off from a hospital. It crashed violently into an interstate killing one on board and severely injuring the others on board. Miraculously despite crashing into the interstate I don't think any other motorists were hit and the helicopter itself looked like a crushed beer can.
That is not, "gliding to the ground under full control." That is falling like a fricking rock.
Look, you dumbasses are flat wrong about this. By every meaning of the word. The car produced thrusts which lifted it into the air. The car also produces thrust which moves it laterally through the air. That is flight. Plain and simple. It doesn't matter how much you try to argue against it, you may as well be arguing with a dictionary this time instead of a thesaurus like last time when you didn't understand that the word "artificial" is synonymous with "fake."

Yes, you are. Very frickin ignorant.

23 pages of SPFLC proving himself to be one of the biggest idiots on the internet.
Well done, sir!

This thread is hilarious. The usual contrarians in here twisting themselves into knots.

You are literally one of the dumbest fricks I've ever met.
I truly hope you are trolling and haven't been forced to go through life like this.
You can spend 2 minutes on google if you actually give a shite about the truth rather than pushing some narrative that makes your balls tingle.

Not to be that guy but technically the atmosphere extends past the moon.

Was it off the ground longer than Orville at Kitty Hawk?

Part of me still thinks it's fake. This goes to the magnitude of being a billionaire, I think: how many fricking cars had to crash before they perfected what we saw last night? how tf.

Quite a few. Saw a video a little while ago of them testing the thing.
